Audiences will be drawn to Swineshead this week with the piano-violin duo of Adelia Myslov and Craig White.
The pair will be performing at the Windmill Studio Concerts at the village hall on Friday from 7.30pm.
Adelia Myslov has given solo performances in Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Fairfield Halls and 10 Downing Street, and has toured France, Spain, Italy and Germany.
She was the overall winner of the string section and finalist of the 2004 Tunbridge Wells International Competition, received the prize for ‘Best interpretation of a Hungarian piece’ in the finals of 2008 Carl Flesch International Violin competition in Hungary, and her performance of Bach’s Chaconne won her the 1st prize and audience vote prize in North London’s International Solo Bach Competition in 2009.
Craig White recently spent two years as a Junior Fellow in Piano Accompaniment at the Royal College of Music working with the Vocal and String Departments.
He graduated with a postgraduate diploma in Piano Accompaniment at the Royal Academy of Music studying with Michael Dussek and Diana Ketler. Prior to this, Craig gained his Bachelors in Music at St Catherine’s College, Oxford, where he held the Répétiteur Scholarship with New Chamber Opera.
