A TIMELESS Christmas musical is being performed at Blackfriars Arts Centre next week when the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future will haunt audiences.

Following on from their success with The Mikado and having won the NODA award for Best Musical with Pickwick, Boston Theatre Group will be performing Scrooge the Musical from Monday, November 21.

Based on Charles Dickens’ original story A Christmas Carol, the musical is the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge (Matt Barnes) a lonely miser visited on Christmas Eve by three spirits who teach him lessons of love and giving.

With a cast of Boston Theatre Group regulars and newcomers including Jack Courtney and William Hammond as young Ebenezers, Stephen Brown as Bob Cratchit, Philip Roberts as Tom Jenkins, Nathan Scarborough as Tiny Tim and Abi Kingsley-Parker, Nick Scarborough and Tony Smith as the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.

It includes songs such as Thank You Very Much, A Better Life and A Christmas Carol.

Boasting an orchestra and cast of over 40 singers, it promises to make the show your Christmas tradition.

The show will be performed from Monday to Friday, at 7.30pm, with a matinee on Saturday, November 26.

Tickets are £12.50 each, with children and OAP tickets £10. The Saturday matinee costs £8.
