VIDEO: Blackfriars Theatre 2013 season to include Derek Acorah and comedian Tom O’Connor

Following a successful pantomime this year, there is plenty to look forward to at Blackfriars Theatre as it celebrates it’s 50th anniversary in 2013, according to the theatre director.

Mike Raymond told the Standard that the pantomime, Sleeping Beauty by Polka Dot Theatre was ‘probably one of the best ones’ the theatre had had in a while.

He also looked to future performances including Boston Children’s Theatre, Mike Harding, Derek Acorah, Vienna Festival of Ballet and others.

The show will also be celebrating 50 years since the start of the restoration with a performance by television comedian Tom O’Connor.
