Film as '˜scene' through the lens, at Louth
A wonderfully cinematic and highly atmospheric film, which takes a look at the world through the (still) camera will be shown at Louth Film Club next week.
The multi-award- winning The Salt of the Earth, which takes a look at the work of Sebastião Salgado, will be shown at The Playhouse Cinema in Cannon Street on Monday, July 18.
Brazilian Salgado, 71, considered the greatest photo-journalist of his generation, has travelled the world recording ever-changing humanity and witnessing some of the major, sometimes horribly brutal, events.
Certified 12A, the film starts at 7.30pm, with tickets £6.90 for non-members.
