The annual meeting was held recently when the president thanked the committee and all the members for their support.
It had been another successful year, with an increase in membership.
A presentation was made to Shirley Abbott, who had retired as secretary; she was thanked for her dedication during the last three years.
The next meeting will be in the community centre on Tuesday, May 10, at 2pm, when Cherry Wilkinson will be the speaker.
