Three times during the day a member of the gardening team will lead a walk through the gardens - from formal gardens and rose arches to walled vegetable gardens and orchards.

At 11.30am, entomologist Dr David Sheppard will be leading a family bug hunt, while at 12.30pm and 2.45pm, National Trust curator Andrew Barber will be leading a potted history of Gunby Hall.

Those who want to walk further afield can enjoy a seven-mile walk, heading off at 10am, which will be exploring Gunby’s extensive estate and also take in the villages of Bratoft, Burgh-le-Marsh and Orby.

At 10.30am there will another seven-miler, across fields, tracks and lanes on the estate, including a visit to the 17th century Monksthorpe Chapel

Full details and other walks leading up to the
finale can be found in the
festival brochure or visit www.woldswalkingfestival.co.uk
