Love in the air in Caxton double bill
For the first Novartis Suit production, instead of one play lasting about an hour and half, as is the norm, director Photis Hardalias decided to do two one act plays, lasting around 45 minutes each, giving the audience the opportunity to enjoy two different shows in one night.
The first play is Mark Twain’s romantic comedy ‘The Diary of Adam and Eve’ set in the Garden of Eden.

Hide AdAlone in the Garden Adam is bored and although he does not realise it, he is lonely. Of course God has the answer….and what follows is told by the diaries of those involved.
And the second is Colin Calvert’s humorous play ‘Second Thoughts’.
Two old school friends bump into each other at a library and agree to have a night out. Harold arrives first and while he is waiting for Patti he wanders if he is up to an affair, if that is even what’s on offer.
The show is on for three nights only, from Thursday April 10 to Saturday, April 12, with performances starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £5 and can be purchased on line at www.caxtontheatre.com or in person from the Tourist Information at Fishing Heritage Centre or Cleethorpes Library, 01472 323111.
