Moy Park is recruiting for its Anwick poultry factory near Sleaford and supermarkets are recruiting while restricting opening hours to restock.

Lincolnshire Co-op is also needing more people to help keep its shelves stocked after it temporarily closed its Navenby and Billinghay stores for short periods to restock after shelves were stripped.

The Co-op is launching a recruitment drive in a bid to strengthen its team, citing issues including the heightened demand for services, school closures and colleagues undertaking self-isolation periods that have meant there are fewer team members available to work in front-line outlets.

“We’re working really hard to keep all our outlets open and serving our communities – but we do want more people to come forward and help boost our workforce so we can continue to do that through the days and weeks to come.”

Varied fixed-term and casual contracts are currently available, with scope for these to be made into permanent contracts at a later date.
