The music of Charlie Chaplin films like The Gold Rush will be part of Silent Soundtracks at Lincoln Drill Hall
The genius of Charlie Chaplin is celebrated at the Lincolnshire International Chamber Music Festival this week in Silent Soundtracks at Lincoln Drill Hall.

The show will include clips from The Immigrant, The Adventurer, The Vagabond and Behind the Screen, all accompanied by specially adapted soundtracks by the acclaimed silent film composer, Carl Davis.

Also featured will be memorable scenes from The Great Dictator, Limelight and The Gold Rush, set to music by Brahms, Rimsky-Korsakov, Tchaikovsky and Wagner.

Live music will be played by Ashley Wass (piano) and Matthew Trusler (violin).
