FANS of old-fashioned spooky fun should catch a new spine-tingling play when it comes to Boston.
Based on Charles Dickens’ classic Victorian chiller To Be Read at Dusk, The Haunted Bride will play at Blackfriars Theatre on Tuesday evening.
Set during a young couple’s honeymoon in Italy, the play follows young bride Harriet who is troubled by a recurring dream of a haunting face.
At the peeling, overgrown palazzo where they are staying, amid its shadowy rooms and moonstruck gardens, the nightmare that haunts Harriet’s sleep reaches its ‘terrifying climax’.
Presented by the Rumpus Theatre Company, The Haunted Bride is a new play by John Goodrum which is sure to delight fans of Dickens and gothic horror.
Show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £10-12
