HAVEN High Technology College’s musical production will be coming to Boston early next month.
This year’s show is called 13 and is a new musical from America’s Broadway which follows the trials and tribulations of a 13-year-old Jewish boy named Evan Goldman.
Young Goldman is forced to move from New York City to Appleton, Indiana, following the split with his parents and is facing his Bar Mitzvah celebration while trying to make friends in his new home town.
The school said preparations for the production have been in full swing and the cast and staff have been busy creating and perfecting high-tempo dance routines.
Alongside this they are learning the harmonies for several big musical numbers.
Production manager Jack Luffman said: “The show is an upbeat, high-temp story with an edge of humour that will certainly entertain and energise the audiences.”
The production follows on from previous shows High School Musical, Hairspray and Wizard of Oz.
Haven High’s production will run for five nights, at 7pm, in the main college hall on the Marian Campus, from Tuesday, December 6 to Saturday, December 10.
Tickets are £6 adult (£4 conc), £18 family.
