Road closures: almost a dozen for North East Lincolnshire drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around North East Lincolnshire will have 11 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A180, from 8pm October 15 to 6am November 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A180 eastbound, Great Coates to Pyewipe, Lane closure for surfacing works on behalf of North East Lincolnshire Council.

• A180, from 9pm June 19 to 6am November 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A180 eastbound and westbound, Barnetby to Brocklesby, carriageway and lane closures for structure works, diversion in place via local authority network.

And a further nine closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A180, from 8pm October 26 to 6am October 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A180 eastbound, Stallingborough to Great Coates, Lane closure for technology works.

• A160, from 9pm October 30 to 5am October 31, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M180 eastbound, junction 5, slip road closure for electrical works, diversion via local authority and national highways networks.

• A180, from 9.30am to 3.30pm on October 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A180 westbound, Greatcoates to Stallingborough, Lane closure for barrier/fence safety repairs.

• A180, from 9pm October 31 to 6am November 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A180 westbound, Brocklesby to Barnetby, carriageway closure for electrical works, diversion route in place via National Highways and Local Highway Authority roads.

• A180, from 8pm November 1 to 6am November 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A180 eastbound and westbound, Barnetby to Brocklesby, Lane closures for general cleaning and maintenance works.

• A180, from 9pm November 1 to 5am November 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A180 eastbound, Great Coates, Lane closure for barrier repair.

• A180, from 8pm November 2 to 6am November 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A180 eastbound and westbound, Harbrough to Stallingborough, Lane closure for general cleaning and maintenance.

• A180, from 8pm November 3 to 6am November 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A180 eastbound and westbound, Stallingborough to Great coates, Lane closure for general cleaning and maintenance.

• A180, from 8pm November 6 to 6am November 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A180 eastbound and westbound, Greatcoates to Pyewipe, Lane closure for general cleaning and maintenance.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
