A campaign to establish a memorial for Lincolnshire road crash victims has received a £1,040 boost.
A cheese and wine evening held at the Mallard Lounge, at Westwood Lakes, saw the money raised through a variety of donations and raffle prizes.
The Lincolnshire Roads Victims Memorial Appeal aims to create a memorial area in Westgate Woods.
The charity wants to hear from anyone who can provide live music for future events.
Anne Bourne, of the fundraising group, said: “It is for a good cause and, ideally, we would like to hear from musicians prepared to help and entertain for the love of the music.
“We can provide appreciative audiences. But we are realists, and, where necessary, there will be some money to cover expenses.”
Anne lost her daughter and niece in a horrendous crash on a county road in which four people died and five children were left without their mothers.
Her other daughter, Anne Meeds, was seriously injured.
