The Environment Agency says hundreds of residents and businesses in Boston will benefit from a £490,000 investment in flood protection work to the River Haven.
The agency says it will repair stell ‘sheetpiles’ and a concrete beam at the top of the piles around the Haven Bridge from Pulvertoft Lane northwards.
There will also be maintenance work carried out south of the Swing Bridge on London Road.
The work, which bosses say will benefit people in High Street and London Road, should start next month and run until the middle of June.
