Boston Mayflower has awarded £500 to the town’s Salvation Army.

The money, part of the housing association’s Community Champions Awards scheme, will help fund materials for the Salvation Army’s Look and Learn Group.

Major Mark Price, Boston Salvation Army’s Commanding Officer, said: “Our Look and Learn group covers various aspects but is more than just a craft class.

“Other benefits it provides include companionship and support. It also acts as a stepping stone to helping people develop new skills.

“This money from Boston Mayflower will mean we can develop the group further.”
