999 callouts
The weekend’s freezing weather saw East Midlands Ambulance Service deal with 900 more calls compared with the same time last year.
Between Thursday 17th January and Sunday 20th January the 999 service received 6,335 calls, compared to 5,395 over the same dates in 2012.
