FOLK entertainer Bram Taylor makes a welcome return to Boston Folk Club.
Lancashire lad Bram (pictured left) has been a firm favourite on the folk scene for many years, with his winning mix of traditional and contemporary songs spiced with a sizeable helping of humour. Playing both guitar and duet concertina, Bram includes many chorus numbers in his repertoire, which is geared to appeal to a wide range of tastes.
A stalwart of the British club circuit, Bram has also ventured further afield in recent years, with tours of the USA and appearances at the Mariposa Folk Festival in Ontario alongside such stars as Gordon Lightfoot, Don McLean and Buffy Sainte-Marie.
Bram has recorded several albums to critical acclaim as well as making numerous appearances on local and national radio.
The show at Boston Folk Club is on Monday, upstairs at the Eagle in West Street. The music starts at 8.15pm - call 01205 358783.
