It has been 30 years since The Moment performed in Boston, and this Saturday sees their triumphant return.
The popular 80s band will play at The Pilgrim Lounge, at Boston United FC.
Chris Chester is organising the event for excited fans. He said: “Compared to the Jam and the Clash by the music press of the day, The Moment proved such a hit with the Boston crowd that a number of locals travelled throughout the UK to see them.”
According to The Moment’s website, Paul Moody of NME described them as “English pop music’s greatest ever secret”.
King Mojo will be supporting The Moment on Saturday night and completing the line up are Dj duo Bunny & Dean playing between sets.
“There’s a few tribute bands on the circuit, but I thought it was about time we had one or two performing original material,” explained Chris.
The Moment are made up of Adrian Holder, Rob Moore and Buddy Ascott. The band were part of the UK 1980s Mod Revial and toured the UK in Summer 2014.
Chris said: “Great bands performing their own material rarely appear in Boston so if you want to be part of this unique night out contact Chris Chester 07758 751838 email email@example.com for tickets £10.”
Tickets can also be purchased on the door, and this is a non-profit venture, with any profit made being given to charity. For more info visit: http://thepilgrimlounge.co.uk/ or search for The Moment on Facebook.
