A&E closure: Campaign group to hold candlelight vigil outside Grantham Hospital entrance

Campaign group SOS Grantham Hospital has organised the vigil as a form of protest against the night-time closure of Grantham Hospital’s A&E department, and against any downgrade of the facility.

It follows a protest rally held outside the hospital entrance on Saturday.

The vigil will take place outside the entrance in Manthorpe Road from 6.15pm and will continue until around midnight.

People are urged to attend to help show the town’s strength of feeling.
