Discount supermarket giant Aldi is recalling a product on sale in the region after salmonella was found.

The store has recalled 200g (7oz) packs of Choceur Treasures with a best before date of September 1, 2015.

The company said the chocolate was sold in parts of Lincolnshire, the East Midlands and West Midlands.

Anyone who bought the product is asked to return it to the store.

The Food Standards Agency is warning people not to eat the product.

It said no other Aldi products were known to be affected.
