Bassetlaw: John Mann MP’s quest for better broadband in the district
John Mann MP met with the minister of state for Culture and the Digital Economy last week and secured a promise of improved funding for broadband in Bassetlaw.
The Bassetlaw MP said: “I am confident that we have now unlocked over £2 million of spending which will dramatically improve coverage, particularly in rural areas.”
“Decent internet access is essential for most people, for both personal use and businesses. I’m delighted that we have assurances that spending will be focused on areas like Bassetlaw.”
