“However, I know that sometimes people find themselves needing help and I’m pleased to be able to help sustain a service that provides that much needed assistance in situations that may otherwise require police or health service involvement.”
“I’m a big supporter of the Street Pastor movement. I know that due to the selfless approach of the Street Pastors, they keep people out of trouble and reducing the possibility that they, or others, may come to harm.”
Mr Wilkinson said: “I really appreciate the support of the Police and Crime Commissioner, and hope that Street Pastors can continue to make a valuable contribution to the peace and welfare of those people in Bassetlaw who enjoy the night-time economy.”
