LITTLE Joshua Bolton has been described by his parents as the ‘best present ever’ – after arriving more than 10 days late on Christmas Day.
Parents Nicola Taylor and Andrew Bolton had expected him to arrive on December 14, but he stayed firmly put, finally making an appearance at 10.39pm on December 25.
Nicola, 23, told The Standard: “He was waiting for Christmas – it was a nice surprise.
“I think this Christmas will be the one to remember.
“He’s going to win as the best Christmas present ever.”
When Joshua Karl Khristopher Bolton finally arrived he weighed 8lbs 9oz.
Mum and son came out of hospital on Boxing Day, meaning they missed Christmas fun with the family.
However, Nicola did not seem to mind, and said they were going to hold an unofficial Christmas Day at the weekend.
