Reports of a body found in the alley at the side of Boston’s Heron store have been dispelled after police confirmed they were looking into people potentially accessing the roof of the business.

A police spokesman confirmed officers were called to the alley, on Wide Bargate, at about 9.20am on Sunday, to reports of slates being damaged, fallen and falling.

The alley was closed off to make the area secure, however, police say there may have been criminal damage from people accessing the roof.

Anyone who saw anything is asked to call police non-emergency number 101 with incident number 115 of October 9, 2016.
