A BOSTON man took the ‘no pain, no gain’ sporting mantra a little further when he showed his support to Sport Relief on Friday.

Chris Gutteridge, 21, had the Sport Relief logo tattooed on his lower leg - and raised £315 in the process.

Boston tattooist Ronnie Goddard offered to tattoo Chris for free at his home studio Blood, Sweat and Tears, in Church Road.

Chris said: “I have gone through the pain to have a the logo tattooed on my leg and believe you should all put your hands in your pockets and help me get closer and even smash my target of £500.”
