A 12-year-old-boy is recovering after being hit by a car in Ingoldmells.

The incident took place in Sea Lane at 10.50am yesterday morning.

Paraemdics attended the scene and police say the boy, who is believed to have received minor injuries, was taken to hospital as a precaution.
