A road has been closed following a collision which saw a female rescued from a car by emergency services today (Tuesday)
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue and Police were called to Chapel Lane, New Bolingbroke at about 8.25am, to a collision involving two cars.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said that one of the cars had entered a ditch and confirmed a female had been released from the vehicle.
They said damage had reportedly been caused to some bridge railings, which had resulted in the road being closed as Lincolnshire County Council’s highways department was called in.
Fire services tweeeted to say that crews from Boston and Woodhall Spa had attended the incident and hydraulic cutting equipment had been used to release the casualty.
