Union members from Boston joined a march through London on Saturday to protest against Government cuts.
Boston borough councillor Paul Kenny went along to the demonstration along with fellow members of the GMB union.The protesters marched through the capital before holding a rally at Hyde Park.
The event, called A Future That Works, called for David Cameron’s coalition to adopt a ‘plan B’ over the economy to boost jobs and growth.
In a statement, local union members said: “We were delighted to join tens of thousands of GMB and other unions to march to a huge rally in Hyde Park. We felt it gave us the opportunity to send a message on behalf of local people in Boston and Sleaford.”
