A WATER pipe down Almond Walk, in Boston, has cracked while work was being carried out on it, resulting in part of the street being flooded.
Contractors were installing water metres down the road and digging round the pipe when it cracked.
Anglian Water has been called to turn the water off while the pipe is fixed, which it is hoped will take around two hours.
One onlooker reported seeing a duck swimming on the water.
Lincolnshire is currently experiencing a hosepipe ban.
