Donna takes ownership of town store

Boston's branch of Vodafone has re-launched as a franchise, with the person who had been the store manager now the owner.

Donna Watton, of Boston, is now a partner agent with the communications business after taking ownership of its shop in Strait Bargate.

Donna has worked at the branch for about 10 years, starting out as sales advisor, rising up the ranks to store manager.

She was attracted to Vodafone’s Partner Agent Programme by the idea of being her own boss again, having run a number of businesses in the catering sector in Skegness before joining Vodafone.

Since the re-launch, she said business has gone ‘really, really well’ and paid tribute to the staff supporting her.

“They are doing a really good job for me,” she said.

Donna will be opening the business outside of normal hours on Wednesday and Thursday, December 5 and 6, from 6-8pm, for emergency service and NHS workers to enjoy cake, drinks, and hear about discounts available to them through Vodafone.
