LONG service awards are becoming old hat for two men at Kier in Boston – as they have just made the milestone of 80 years’ service between them.
Plumbers Dave Elsom and Paul Priddy were presented with a commemorative plaque and a certificate to mark the 40 years they have each given to the repairs and maintenance company, which is based at Bittern Way in the town.
And the job has become a family affair for Dave, as his son Matt has followed him into the role and works alongside him.
Paul said the continuous service was his biggest achievement.
Senior operations manager Heidi Thompson said: “Kier is proud its people and we see them as our greatest asset. This is an outstanding achievement and we were honoured to be able to recognise them for such as accomplishment.”
