REVESBY Farm Estates is one of hundreds of businesses taking part in a national event to showcase working life on a farm.
Farmers across the country are busy preparing to open their farms to the public on Sunday (June 12).
Open Farm Sunday, an annual event organised by LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming), is a must for anyone interested in food, farming and the countryside.
This year, the theme is Discover Life on Britain’s Farms and Revesby Farm Estates have plenty of attractions to make it a fun day out for the family.
Visitors will be able to meet the animals, take a tractor and trailer ride, view static machinery displays, and enjoy self-guided walks.
Food is also available and a farm shop will be open selling fresh produce.
The estate’s work is centred around arable farming, beef, sheep, vegetables and environmental stewardship.
LEAF is a registered charity that assists farmers and producers, to manage their farms as efficiently and sustainably as possible which as a result, helps them to produce good food with environmental care.
A spokesperson for Revesby Farm Estates said: “We hope to illustrate farming through the ages with vintage and modern day machinery.
“Visitors can follow the crops from planting to the end use, take a trailer ride around the farm and go for a walk along a nature trail.”
