Future unclear for Boston’s Phones 4 U store as firm enters administration

Boston’s Phones 4 U store will be closed while the firm gets set to enter administration.

The Strait Bargate mobile phone outlet will be one of 550 stores nationwide that close its doors while administrators look at the future for the chain.

It is said that network EE has joined Vodafone in cutting ties with Phones 4 U, leaving it no partners to sell devices with.

It is thought that staff will today be briefed on the future, with an administrator to be appointed.
