The developer of a plan to build 500 houses, a new stadium for Boston United and shops and restaurants is looking for people to help shape the future of the facility.
Chestnut Homes wants to find out how the new ‘community and sports’ facility which ‘will sit at the heart of The Quadrant’ can best serve the community.
An online survey which is being compiled to support a funding bid to Sport England.
Chestnut Homes managing director David Newton said: “We want to ensure that this long-awaited facility will be widely used, so it is crucial that we have an up-to-date picture of the kind of facilities people would like us to provide.
“What kind of sports and leisure activities would you like to take part in? Is there a need for a particular type of educational or training course? Perhaps you would benefit from charity or council outreach services, or do you run a community group which could be based at the centre?
“This information will help us to tailor the facilities on offer and to ensure we have the correct staffing structure in place. It will also form a significant part of our bid to Sport England for funding.”
