STAFF and partners at Chattertons Solicitors celebrated a milestone last week, as they marked 20 years in their South Square office.
Cake and Champagne were on hand to help the group make the most of the celebration, on Thursday, as they raised their glasses to toast the occasion.
Among those celebrating on the day were three members of the firm who have been at the office since the very first day - senior partner Peter Lawson, his secretary Jane Williams and chartered legal executive Andrew Dawson.
Mr Lawson said: “Although we still have our very successful office in Wide Bargate, we have continued to expand in our office at 4 South Square, which is a lovely building to work in.”
The company moved from its offices in New Street, Boston, on March 1, 1992, in a bid to provide space for the firm to expand. Prior to Chatterton’s arrival the building was home to a number of businesses and was known in the town as Norwich Union House.
In October, the company will be marking 40 years of working in the town.
Chattertons specialises in employment, family, debt recovery, personal injury, dispute resolution and immigration work.
