The new Clinton Cards store in Boston is set to open to customers on Saturday.
The shop, in the former JJB Stores premises at 7 Wide Bargate, marks a return to the town by the greetings card chain, which left Pescod Square in June 2012.
The Boston store will sport the new rebranded look, which is rolling out across the UK and follows the opening of a store in Skegness a month ago.
It will stock Yankee candles, Willow Tree and Disney products to host of party items as well as the usual card and gift wrap ranges.
James Emanuel, manager of Boston’s Clintons, said: “Every day is a special day for someone in Boston and we have a wide range of gifts and cards that mark any occasion.
“Our research tells us that we all instinctively appreciate the time and thought that goes into card – choice, personalised greeting, the sound of a card landing on the doormat and the joy of opening something by hand – and that this greatly exceeds the impact of a text, tweet, email or ecard.”
