Maude’s the jewellers has announced it is to move into the old Body Shop premises in Petticoat Lane, Boston.
The move is one of three changes to the high street in Boston in the last week.
Owner Andrea Maude said: “We’ve been in the town for 40 years this year.
“We started out in Wide Bargate and then moved to West Street.
“We’ve been at both ends of the town centre - and now we’re moving to the middle.”
Andrea said the larger premises will enable them to stock more brands and give an even better all-round customer service.
They expect to open the new store in February.
Leaving the town was Ryman the stationers which closed its store in Wide Bargate on Saturday.
The next nearest branches will be in King’s Lynn and Grantham.
A spokesman for Ryman was unavailable for comment on the reasons why it pulled out of the town.
Women’s clothing retailer Evans also closed its Boston shop in Strait Bargate on Saturday – but only to relocate just across the road to the Oldrids department store.
The move took place yesterday (Tuesday), leaving the former premises vacant.
