An opening date has been revealed for the Poundworld coming to Boston.
Customers will be able to step inside the shop for the first time on Thursday, May 12, at 10am.
The branch is opening in the unit formerly occupied by shoe retailer Brantano at the Boston Shopping Park, off Horncastle Road, creating 30 jobs in the process.
It will be Poundworld’s 329th store and its opening forms part of an ambitious expansion plan to launch 60 new stores this year creating 1,800 jobs.
As part of opening celebrations there will be face painting, free product samples, and a guest appearance from Poundworld’s money-saving mascot Percy the Pound.
Marta Gontarz, Poundworld area manager, said: “It’s exciting to be opening a new store at Boston Shopping Park, creating 30 new jobs in the process.
“We can’t wait to open our doors to local shoppers. We hope customers will take advantage of the excellent range of fantastic value deals and exclusive items we have on offer.”
It follows news that Food Warehouse is opening a store in the former Morrisons site, also at Boston Shopping Park, as reported here.
