Bargain hunters in Boston began early on Boxing Day - with some shops in Pescod Square opening at 6am to cater for shoppers.
Game and Next opened up their doors early to launch their sales and contributed to a busy day for retailers.
Pescod Square says its footfall was four per cent up on the period of Boxing Day to December 29 last year.
Centre manager Andy Pottle said: “Early indications are very good, we were very busy Boxing Day. It’s a positive start to the end of the year but it looks good going into the January sales as well.”
Boston’s Game store tweeted on Monday to say it was ‘busy, busy, busy’.
