The town’s major independent fashion and home retailer has celebrated the success of its employees’ with its annual awards.
Oldrids and Downtown have announced the prize winners from this year’s Talent Pool scheme, which gives employees a greater insight into how the business is run.
The top three this year were: in first place Jordan Whitworth; in second Tim Bryan; and in third, Laura Emerson.
A spokesman for Oldrids said: “The talent pool scheme aims to equip colleagues with the knowledge, competencies and confidence to contribute ideas and make an impact beyond their day-to-day work.
“The scheme encourages development and promotion within the business and has proved to be a valuable asset.”
At the end of the scheme colleagues taking part present a business-based project which is judged and awarded by the executive team of the company.
