Macmillan Cancer Research is steering into Boston to help give information and support to people worried about cancer.
The charity’s bus, dubbed ‘Betty’ will be in Pescod Square on April 29 with a team of friendly specialists to help to bring free, confidential information and support to local people.
On board there will be a wide range of information, plus leaflets, for people affected by cancer and the team can help with questions about reducing cancer risks and signs and symptoms.
They will also point people in the right direction for other local services. Anyone interested in helping out aboard the bus can get in touch in advance to offer a hand. Due to limited availablity volunteers should contact logistics co-ordinator Anna Jones on 01274 987481 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Visit the bus between 10am - 4pm on the day.
