Carol concert generates funding boost for charity

Ruskington Methodist Church was packed with people for a Christmas carol concert with the brass quintet of the Band of the RAF College Cranwell.

The concert raised £403 for the RAF Association charity, the band’s chosen charity for 2016.

The RAF Association does not receive any government funding and relies on the generosity of people to help raise the £10 million it needs each year to provide support to serving and former RAF personnel and their families.
