Catalytic converter thefts warning to Honda Accord owners

Police are warning motorists to be alert following a series of catalytic converter thefts across the county.

A recent incident concerned a theft from a Honda Accord Vtec, parked in N’Dola Drive, Horncastle, overnight between Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 1, (Incident 39 of May 1).

This latest incident follows a number of similar thefts, where the offenders appear to be specifically targeting Honda Accords, registered between 1998 and 2004.

In recent days, there have been reported thefts in the Donington, Coningsby, Stickney, Skegness and Barrowby areas.

Anyone with information should contact Lincolnshire Police by dialling 101 and quoting the incident number.
