Hundreds of pounds have been raised for Breast Cancer Care thanks to a strawberry tea party held in Sutterton.
The event took place at Thistles Market Garden – a day centre for adults with learning disabilities.
It was the latest charity drive by Sue Corr, of Wrangle, a manager at the centre.
Earlier this year, Sue raised £1,712 for Macmillan Cancer Support through a sponsored head shave.
Sue’s sister is currently battling breast cancer, having recently lost her step-daughter to the disease, aged just 32.
The event raised £936. Sue described the sum as ‘amazing’ and paid tribute to all those who supported the event.
