Condoms available for teens at town library

Young people aged 13-19 can now pick up free condoms and lube at Boston Library.

The library is the latest venue in the county where teenagers can register for the C-Card scheme which provides free contraception and sexual health information across the county. The library now allows young people to register for the scheme itself. Information is confidential and individuals cannot be traced by it.

Boston Library is the first library in Lincolnshire where young people can register for the scheme, although many libraries are also Pick Up Points. Boston Library also offers Chlamydia Screening kits, which can be taken away and sent for testing via the postal system.
