Two men have been arrested in connection with a ram-raid burglary at Kirton’s Co-op store.
The men, aged 40 and 30, were arrested on suspicion of carrying out a series of raids around the UK in which a digger was used to rip out cash machines.
The incident in Kirton took place on November 11 last year.
The two suspects are currently in Leicestershire Police custody.
Other raids took place in Market Deeping, Wheststone in Leicestershire and in Humberside.
The 40-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of two burglaries in Loughborough and Belgrave and the theft of a car from Derby.
