A body found in a wooded area off Fenside Road in Boston is being treated as ‘unexplained’ while forensic tests take place, say Lincolnshire Police.
A force spokesman confirmed the force was investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s body which was found shortly before noon yesterday (Saturday).
It is believed the man was aged 22 and lived locally, however, formal identification is yet to take place.
In a statement, the spokesman said: “A post mortem examination has been carried out but the death will continue to be treated as unexplained until all forensic tests are completed.
Anyone who was in this area of Fenside Road on Saturday morning, and who thinks they may have information which could assist the enquiry, is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 161 of March 26.
