A BOGUS caller claiming to be a doctor has targeted a 91-year-old Wyberton woman.
The offender called at the home in Tytton Lane West at about 11.25am on Tuesday.
He told the woman he was her new doctor and entered the property. A few minutes later, her carer arrived and was told by the man he was the woman’s son-in-law.
He stayed at the home until about 11.55am, when he made an excuse to go to the car, but did not return. Later, the woman’s purse was found to be missing.
He is described as white, about 5ft 11ins tall and as having dark medium length scruffy hair. He wearing dark coloured jacket and trousers.
