Here’s a rundown of some of the latest results from cases heard at Boston Magistrates’ Court...

Drunk and disorderly

Grzegorz Piotr Zaleski, 35, of Manor Gardens, Boston. At West Street, Boston, was guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour. £85 fine, £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs.

Criminal property

Valerij Ivanov, 43, of Castle Square, Wyberton West Road, Boston. Between May 13 and May 16, 2016, at Boston, acquired criminal property, namely a watch and other property. Discharged conditionally for two years, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs.

Theft

Irina Ivanova, 42, of Castle Square, Wyberton West, Boston. At Market Place, Boston, stole a purse, contents and bank card of a value unknown, belonging to Shane Taylor; on May 13, 2016, and May 16, 2016, committed fraud in that she dishonestly made a false representation, namely using a bank card not belonging to her, intending to make a gain, namely purchasing items with said card. Discharged conditionally for two years, £20 victim surcharge, £1,500 compensation.

Kerrie Frances Smith, 26, c/o Woodland Avenue, Spilsby. At B&M Bargains, in Lawrence lane, Boston, together with another, stole a quantity of vodka blue to the value of £111; at McColls Newsagents, in Anchor Lane, Ingoldmells, together with another stole a quantity of razors, shaving gel and doederant to the value of £26; at The Spar Shop, on Drummond Road, Skegness, together with another stole a quantity of deoderant, to the value of more than £60; at B&Q, Heath Road, Skegness, together with another, stole a socket set of a value unknown; at Skegness, with another, stole coffee and meat to the value of £74.04, belonging to Asda; at Skegness, with another, stole meat, of a value unknown, belonging to Tesco; at Skegness, with another, attempted to steal meat of a value unknown belonging to Tesco; at Old Leake, stole meat and drinks to a value unknown, belonging to Lincolnshire Co-operative; at Skegness, with another, stole coffee to the value of £79.86, belonging to Asda; failed without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order by failing to attend, as instructed, appointments with responsible officer. Committed to prison for an overal length of 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, to include treatment for drug dependency by or under the direction of Addaction for six months and rehabilitation for a maximum of 20 days, £115 victim surcharge, £85 costs, original suspended sentence varied to include a committal to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 18 months.

Drink-driving

Paulius Kysla, 27, of Standish Grove, Boston. At Kirton, drove on Hardwick Estate, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 88 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit 35). Community order made to include 100 hours’ unpaid work, £85 victim surcharge, £85 cost, disqualified from driving for four years.

Vasilijus Kostivgovas, 32, of Woodthorpe Avenue, Boston. At Castle Street, Boston, drove after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 90 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit 35); at Boston, failed without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Boston Magistrates’ Court, having been releeased on bail in criminal proceedings. £500 fine, £50 victim surcharge, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 26 months, £30 fine.

Miroslaw Kot, 33, of Oxford Street, Boston. At Boston, drove on High Street, Boston, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 44 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit 35); drove without insurance; drove without a licence. Community order made, to include 120 hours’ unpaid work, £85 victim surcharge, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 36 months, £165 fine.

Vytautas Merkevicius, 24, of Frampton Place, Boston. At Boston, drove on London Road, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 66 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit 35); drove without insurance. £270 fine, £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Failure to comply

Nathan Doughty, 27, of Woad Farm Road, Boston. Twice failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend for unpaid work. Order to continue, varied to include 10 extra hours of unpaid work (90 hours total), £85 costs.
