Here’s the latest batch of results from cases heard at Boston Magistrates’ Court:


Ian Andrew White, 40, of Jubilee Avenue, Boston. At Boston, stole coffee to the value of £37.74, at Boston failed without reasonable excuse to surrender to custody at Boston Magistrates’ Court having been released on bail in criminal proceedings. Discharged conditionally for six months. £37.74 compensation, £15 victim surcharge, £35 costs.

Aiden Sammy Keal, 23, of Kitwood Road, Boston. At Wide Bargate, Boston, stole a magazine valued £2.99 belonging to Co-op, commission of a further offence while subject to order of conditional discarge for 12 months, for the original offences of theft of hair straigherners and theft of electrical drills, sander and a jigsaw. £95 fine, £2.99 compensation, £27 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £175 fine.

Criminal damage

Nigel Lee Williams, 33, of Monarchs Road, Sutterton. At London Road, Kirton, damaged both wing mirrors on a Peugeot 206 to the value of £179.38. £70 fine, £90 compensation, £20 victim surcharge, £30 costs.

Failure to comply

Neal Evans, 67, of Wainfleet Road, Old Leake. Failed to comply with the requirements of a notice served to take necessary steps to remedy the condition of land known as Wranglesleake, because it appeared to the council that the amenity of parts of the council’s area was being adversely affected by the condition of the property. £100 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £350 costs.

John Creasey, 28, of Fydell Street, Boston. At Boston Police Station being a relevant offender within the terms of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the notification requirements. £65 fine, £20 victim surcharge.

Simon Andrew Bisby,38, of Carlton Road, Boston. Two charges of failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend scheduled appointments, failing to provide acceptable explanations and failing to maintain contact with offender manager, for three original offences of theft. Committed to prison for 12 weeks.

Antonia Danielle Hickman, 20, of Caleb Hill Road, Old Leake. Complaint for an anti-social behaviour order - support is that they breached ASBO on numerous occassions. Anti-social behaviour order extended for seven months.


Valdas Sinkunas, 34, of Dock Terrace, Boston. At Boston, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place had a lock knife. £200 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, knife to be forfeited and destroyed.

Failure to notify

Simon Andrew Cowgill, 35, of Murchison Path, Glen Rothes, Fife. At Boston, failed to promptly notify the Department for Work and Pensions of a change of circumstances which would affect entitlement to income support - namely that he was working and in receipt of an income. £110 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £100 costs.


Dean Andrew Fox, 25, of Southtown Road, Great Yarmouth. At Sutterton, had possession of 138 gramms of cannabis. £110 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, cannabis to be forfeited and destroyed.

Going equipped

Michael Peaks, 41, of no fixed abode. At Boston, not being at his place of abode, had with him articles for use in the course of, or in connection with burglary, namely gloves, tools and an adapted article. Committed to prison for 12 weeks, items to be forfeited and destroyed.


Sarah Anne Guttesen, 41, of Margaret Drive, Boston. At Boston, with intent to cause two people harassment, alarm or distress, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, thereby causing that person or another harassment, alarm or distress. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, £15 compensation, £15 compensation, £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs.


Tomas Byra, 21, of Fydell Street, Boston. At Boston, committed assault by beating. Community order made including supervision requirement and 50 hours’ unpaid work, £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs.
